R & L Brosamer Auto Vibe III

In the summer of 2006 R & L Brosamer started work on the LAX 25L relocation and construction of runway 25L and taxiway improvement project. In order to meet the FAA regulations, R & L Brosamer retrofitted two of their pavers with Minnich's Auto Vibe III monitoring system. With the help of Terry Equipment it was an easy transition.

R & L Brosamer contacted Terry Equipment, in Fontana California, to purchase two Auto Vibe III monitoring systems. Terry Equipment has been in business for seventeen years and in the concrete industry for nine years. Jose Escobedo, R & L Brosamer's equipment manager, says, "Terry Equipment is very good to work with." He goes on to say, "They understand the concrete paving industry and do well supporting it." Terry Equipment is factory certified to rebuild Minnich vibrators. This enabled R & L Brosamer to take their Minnich vibrators locally to be reconditioned and sensored, speeding up the retrofit process. "The ability of Terry Equipment to repair vibrators near our project, enables us to have less in inventory as the turn around is quicker, they support us by picking up and delivering the vibrators we need rebuilt," said Jose. "We are pleased with their quality of work, as other companies have not done as good of a job in both quality and timeliness," continued Jose.

Minnich Manufacturing and Terry Equipment worked together on making this a speedy retrofit. Terry Equipment reconditioned and installed all the sensors in the vibrators. Minnich traveled to the job-site to install the system, train personnel, help start up and watch first day of paving. Minnich Manufacturing and Terry Equipment are available for any questions and concerns not only during the purchase but also throughout the life of the system. "Minnich's service technician was excellent to work with and he answered all of our questions. The work was started on time and the system is working very well," said Jose Escobedo. Minnich Manufacturing's Auto Vibe III gives a contractor fingertip control of their vibrators along with the ability to monitor and record vibrator data. Andru Small, with Terry Equipment, believes there are many benefits to owning a Minnich Auto Vibe system. Andru states, "The Minnich Auto Vibe System has become an extremely useful tool for concrete contractors. It is very simple to operate yet accurate tool." Andru goes on to say, "One of my contractors stated it (Auto Vibe System) paid for itself on their first barrier job and now has it on both their machines." Jose Escobedo agrees, saying "The main benefit of the Minnich system is that the vibrators are set at a controlled pace, which prevents the vibrators from over vibrating, thus increasing the life of the vibrator, lowering costs and providing a better finished product."
